dc.description.abstractAn assay for real-time monitoring of DNA synthesis by DNA polymerases is presented. With the opening of a dual dye-labeled probe, triggered by the progressing enzymatic DNA synthesis, a fluorescent signal is generated (see scheme), enabling the high-throughput quantitative characterization of inhibitors and monitoring of the DNA polymerase reaction in cell lysates.eng
