Although impressive, this paper will not focus on the outcomes achieved by these systems, but rather on a specific dimension of artistic processes: embodiment. I discuss the results of a recent factorial survey study aimed at testing the influence that embodiment has on the evaluation of creativity. These findings show that the physical dimension of artificial systems interacting with human artists contributes to the perception of the interplay between artificial and human agents as a creative collaboration. I propose that a closer study of the dynamics of interaction between embodied machines, human artists, and the public can facilitate progress in both the artistic and the technology sector.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource="https://rightsstatements.org/page/InC/1.0/"/> <dcterms:available rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2022-07-04T06:53:15Z</dcterms:available> <dc:creator>Moruzzi, Caterina</dc:creator> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2022-07-04T06:53:15Z</dc:date> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/57917"/> <void:sparqlEndpoint rdf:resource="http://localhost/fuseki/dspace/sparql"/> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://localhost:8080/jspui"/> <dcterms:isPartOf rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/40"/> <dc:rights>terms-of-use</dc:rights> <dcterms:issued>2022</dcterms:issued> <dc:contributor>Moruzzi, Caterina</dc:contributor> <dspace:isPartOfCollection rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/40"/> <dcterms:title>The (Artificial) Physicality of Creativity : How Embodiment Influences Perceptions of Creativity</dcterms:title> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
