Organizational error management culture was positively related to firm performance across 2 studies conducted in 2 different European countries. On the basis of quantitative and qualitative cross-sectional data from 65 Dutch organizations, Study 1 revealed that organizational error management culture was significantly correlated with both organizational goal achievement and an objective indicator of economic performance. This finding was confirmed in Study 2, using change-of-profitability data from 47 German organizations. The results suggest that organizations may want to introduce organizational error management as a way to boost firm performance.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:issued>2005</dcterms:issued> <dc:creator>Sonnentag, Sabine</dc:creator> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.0/legalcode"/> <dcterms:bibliographicCitation>First publ. in: Journal of Applied Psychology 90 (2005), 6, pp. 1228-1240</dcterms:bibliographicCitation> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dcterms:available rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2011-03-25T09:19:35Z</dcterms:available> <dc:creator>Baer, Markus</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Frese, Michael</dc:creator> <dc:contributor>Frese, Michael</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Dyck, Cathy van</dc:creator> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2011-03-25T09:19:35Z</dc:date> <dcterms:title>Organizational error management culture and its impact on performance : a two-study replication</dcterms:title> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
