| dc.description.abstract | Summarizes research on motivation conducted during the 1980s and early 1990s in German-speaking countries. The first part of the article discusses research on distinct motive systems (achievement, intrinsic motivation, affiliation, prosocial behavior, aggression, power); the second part is concerned with work on the antecedents and consequences of causal attributions and control beliefs; the third part reports on the increased interest in the volitional processes of goal achievement. | eng |
