| dc.description.abstract | The increasing availability of location data of photos opens up novel automated possibilities to visualize location information of a set of photos. Typically the photos are grouped, hence their spatial distribution is weak. This leads to a high overlap from which visualizations on a geographic map suffer. In this thesis, approaches for the representation of groups of photos as well as an artificial layout of the photos are developed and analyzed. Furthermore, several methods of map distortion are discussed which are supposed to combine details with contextual information. | eng |

| kops.description.abstract | Da zu digitalen Fotos zunehmend Ortsdaten verfügbar sind, werden neuartige Ansätze zur automatisierten Visualisierung ihrer räumlichen Anordnung ermöglicht. Üblicherweise sind Fotos gruppiert und daher räumlich schlecht verteilt. Daraus resultiert eine starke Überlappung, was die Visualisierung auf einer geografischen Karte erschwert.<br />In dieser Arbeit werden Verfahren entwickelt und untersucht, die sich mit der Darstellung von Foto-Gruppierungen sowie der künstlichen Fotopositionierung befassen. Desweiteren werden verschiedene Kartenverzerrungen betrachtet, die Details mit Kontextinformationen kombinieren sollen. | deu |
