The substitution of two α-helical turns in an otherwise natural coiled-coil motif by a fragment of alternating β and γ-amino acids with retention of global conformation and stability of the fold was established. The new chimeric system shows a high potency in helical quaternary structure formation.</dcterms:abstract> <dc:contributor>Koksch, Beate</dc:contributor> <dcterms:available rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2011-03-24T18:14:32Z</dcterms:available> <dc:contributor>Araghi, Raheleh Rezaei</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Baldauf, Carsten</dc:creator> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dc:contributor>Cölfen, Helmut</dc:contributor> <dc:contributor>Völkel, Antje</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Koksch, Beate</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Wieczorek, Sebastian</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Jäckel, Christian</dc:creator> <dc:contributor>Salwiczek, Mario</dc:contributor> <dc:contributor>Wieczorek, Sebastian</dc:contributor> <dc:contributor>Jäckel, Christian</dc:contributor> <dcterms:issued>2010</dcterms:issued> <dc:creator>Völkel, Antje</dc:creator> <dcterms:bibliographicCitation>First publ. in: ChemBioChem 11 (2010), 3, pp. 335-339</dcterms:bibliographicCitation> <dc:contributor>Baldauf, Carsten</dc:contributor> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="http://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/9806"/> <dcterms:title>A beta/gamma Motif to Mimic alpha-Helical Turns in Proteins</dcterms:title> <dc:contributor>Wagner, Sara C.</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Araghi, Raheleh Rezaei</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Wagner, Sara C.</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Cölfen, Helmut</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Salwiczek, Mario</dc:creator> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource="http://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:bsz:352-20140905103416863-3868037-7"/> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2011-03-24T18:14:32Z</dc:date> <dc:rights>deposit-license</dc:rights> <dc:format>application/pdf</dc:format> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
