The standard Lifshitz-Kosevich formula does not explain many new effects here. First part of the thesis is devoted to the de Haas - van Alphen effect in 2D and quasi-2D case. The detailed introduction is given in chapters 1 and 2. In chapter 2 an influence of different factors (that exist in real experiments) is studied in a simple way. In chapter 3 a general formula for magnetization oscillations is derived for arbitrary parameters that allows a quantitative comparison between theory and experiment. In addition, a method of direct extracting of the density of electron states distribution from experimental curve of magnetization and a method of testing the one-particle approximation are proposed. In the second part a theory of magnetoresistance oscillations in quasi-2D metals is developed for the first time (chapter 4). This theory explains two new qualitative effects, namely, the phase shift of beats and the slow oscillations of conductivity in quasi-2D organic compounds. Two different theoretical approaches have been applied to this problem: the Boltzmann transport equation and the Feinmann diagram technique. It is shown that both these effects are a general feature of quasi-2D case and they arise when warping of the Fermi surface becomes comparable to the cyclotron frequency. The consequences and possible application of these effects are discussed.</dcterms:abstract> <dc:date rdf:datatype="">2011-03-24T17:54:39Z</dc:date> <dcterms:hasPart rdf:resource=""/> <dc:creator>Grigoriev, Pavel</dc:creator> <dcterms:alternative>Magnetische Quantenoszillationen in quasi-zweidimensionalen Metallen</dcterms:alternative> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dc:contributor>Grigoriev, Pavel</dc:contributor> <dcterms:title>Magnetic quantum oscillations in quasi-two-dimensional metals</dcterms:title> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource=""/> <dspace:isPartOfCollection rdf:resource=""/> <dcterms:isPartOf rdf:resource=""/> <void:sparqlEndpoint rdf:resource="http://localhost/fuseki/dspace/sparql"/> <bibo:uri rdf:resource=""/> <dc:rights>terms-of-use</dc:rights> <dspace:hasBitstream rdf:resource=""/> <foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://localhost:8080/jspui"/> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
