2000 Mikroskopie mit einem einzelnen Molekül als Lichtquelle 2011-03-24T17:54:17Z application/pdf Michaelis, Jens 2011-03-24T17:54:17Z Michaelis, Jens The aim of the work was to use a single molecule as both a point-source and point-detector for
the intensity-distribution in confined geometries. To acchieve this, the techniques of
single-molecule spectroscopy and scanning probe microscopy were combined, so that both
the high spectral sensitivity of a single molecule and the high positioning accuracy of a
scanning probe microscope could be used. Such a single-molecule light-source was used for
the very first time for optical microscopy, a novel method which could allow in the future to
push the resolution in optical microscopy down to the molecular level. deu terms-of-use Microscopy with a single-molecule light-source
