The energy of a new trial configuration during the simulation is calculated directly from the expansion of the band energy avoiding a set up of an a priori Heisenberg-type model. The electronic structure of the cluster is determined by means of the embedded-cluster Green's function technique based on the Korringa Kohn Rostoker method within the local spin-density approximation of the density functional theory. As a benchmark the ground state of anti-ferromagnetic clusters and the temperature dependence of the magnetization of a flat square cluster of 16 Co atoms on a Cu(001) surface have been studied.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:hasPart rdf:resource=""/> <dc:creator>Balogh, László</dc:creator> <dcterms:title>Monte Carlo study on magnetic nanoparticles from first principle</dcterms:title> <dc:rights>terms-of-use</dc:rights> <dc:creator>Nowak, Ulrich</dc:creator> <dc:contributor>Balogh, László</dc:contributor> <dc:contributor>Szunyogh, László</dc:contributor> <dspace:isPartOfCollection rdf:resource=""/> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <bibo:uri rdf:resource=""/> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource=""/> <dc:contributor>Lazarovits, Bence</dc:contributor> <dc:date rdf:datatype="">2011-03-24T17:54:06Z</dc:date> <dc:format>application/pdf</dc:format> <dc:creator>Lebecki, Krzysztof M.</dc:creator> <dc:contributor>Lebecki, Krzysztof M.</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Szunyogh, László</dc:creator> <dc:contributor>Udvardi, László</dc:contributor> <dcterms:bibliographicCitation>First publ. in: Journal of Physics : Conference Series ; 200 (2010), 7. - 072103</dcterms:bibliographicCitation> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
