Generalizing previous results for simple shear, this allows the full tensorial structure of the theory to be identified. Macroscopic deformation measures, such as the Cauchy-Green tensors, thereby emerge. So does a direct relation between the stress and the distorted microstructure, illuminating the interplay of slow structural relaxation and arbitrary imposed flow. We present flow curves for steady planar and uniaxial elongation and compare these to simple shear. The resulting nonlinear Trouton ratios point to a tensorially nontrivial dynamic yield condition for colloidal glasses.</dcterms:abstract> <void:sparqlEndpoint rdf:resource="http://localhost/fuseki/dspace/sparql"/> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dspace:isPartOfCollection rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/41"/> <dc:contributor>Cates, Michael E.</dc:contributor> <foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://localhost:8080/jspui"/> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="http://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/868"/> <dcterms:issued>2008</dcterms:issued> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2011-03-22T17:51:37Z</dc:date> <dc:contributor>Fuchs, Matthias</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Fuchs, Matthias</dc:creator> <dcterms:isPartOf rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/41"/> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource="http://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:bsz:352-20140905103416863-3868037-7"/> <dc:contributor>Brader, Joseph M.</dc:contributor> <dcterms:title>First-Principles Constitutive Equation for Suspension Rheology</dcterms:title> <dc:creator>Cates, Michael E.</dc:creator> <dcterms:available rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2011-03-22T17:51:37Z</dcterms:available> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
