Abstract
Im Rahmen dieser Dissertation wurden mehrere Proteinstrukturen mittels Röntgenstrukturanalyse bestimmt. Dabei kamen verschiedene Verfahren wie zum Beispiel "Molecular Replacement" und "Multiple Anomale Dispersion" (MAD) zum Einsatz. Gelöst wurden zwei C-terminale Fragmente von TonB, einem Protein aus Escherichia coli (E. coli), der C-Ring der F0F1-ATPase aus Ilyobacter tartaricus und GalU, ein Enzym, das ebenfalls aus E. coli stammt.

During this PhD-thesis, various protein structures were determined using x-ray analysis methods such as "molecular replacement" or "multiple anomalous dispersion" (MAD). Two C-terminal fragments of TonB from Escherichia coli (E. coli), the c-ring of the F0F1-ATPase from Ilyobacter tartaricus and an enzyme called GalU, which again was from E. coli, were solved.
