Abstract

With respect to the concept of an organization as an information processing unit information is considered in its pragmatic character. The analysis leads to the development of an information dependent contingency approach. The different types of job related uncertainty demand professional forms of information management. This is discussed via 6 theses.

Ausgehend von einem Verstandnis von Organisation als informationsverarbeitendes System wird ein pragmatischer, d.h. handlungsrelevanter Begriff von Information und Bedingungen für einen informationellen Kontingenzansatz entwickelt. Aus dem Aufweis verschiedener Situationen organisationeller UngewiBheit werden Aufgaben eines professionellen Informationsmanagements in Form von 6 Thesen formuliert.
