2011-03-24T15:38:36Z Bewegungsqualität der Alltagslokomotion in der funktionellen Rehabilitation : vergleichende Untersuchung von Hemiplegikern und Gesunden Kipula-M'Boko-Lutete, Augustin unknown Quality of movement of the daily locomotion in functional rehabilitation. Comparative investigation of hemiplegics and healthy persons The goal of this research was the quantification of the movement quality from hemiplegic patients before and after a therapy in the comparison to a control group with the movement of rising from a chair. The examination was enforced with the specifically developed chair "PosMess", that measures the movement quality of the probationers during the rising by means of ultrasound and relays the results at the computer. The software calculates the certain parameters on the basis of a quadratic function of the speed and the right-left-asymmetry of the body during rising and changes them into mathematical numbers. "PosMess" registers the movements of the body in three-dimensional coordinates.

Probationers were 30 hemiplegic patients (24 men, 6 women) and a control group of 30 healthy (21 men, 9 women). Each probationer had to enforce 10 risings from the chair. All results were appraised statistically with the t-Test.

Two groups were compared:
- patients and
- healthy ("g").
The group of the patients was subdivided in two subgroups:
- patients before the therapy ("v") and
- patients after the therapy ("n").

All tests were statistical high significant, that means that the movement quality of the patients after the therapy (n) was higher than the movement quality before the therapy (v). The movement quality of the healthy was clearly higher than that of the patients, but the deviation was clearly reduced regarding the movement quality after the therapy in the comparison to the movement quality of the patients before the therapy. This proves an improvement with the patients "n".

It is to be determined that with the chair "PosMess" the movement quality can be measured very well and the interpretation of the qualitative and quantitative data is well possible. The use in the clinical practice is easily and promises very good successes with the movement analysis before, during and after the therapy of sick people, e.g. hemiplegic patients. deposit-license 2003 application/pdf 2011-03-24T15:38:36Z deu Kipula-M'Boko-Lutete, Augustin
