In the collinear magnetic phase, in which the sublattice magnetic moments are all aligned along the same axis, we observe the conventional spin Hall magnetoresistance. In contrast, in the canted phase, the magnetoresistance changes sign. Using atomistic spin simulations and x-ray absorption experiments, we can understand these observations in terms of the magnetic field and temperature dependent orientation of magnetic moments on different magnetic sublattices. This enables a magnetotransport based investigation of noncollinear magnetic textures.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:title>Spin Hall magnetoresistance in a canted ferrimagnet</dcterms:title> <dc:creator>Schlitz, Richard</dc:creator> <dc:rights>terms-of-use</dc:rights> <dcterms:issued>2016-05-24T13:19:53Z</dcterms:issued> <dc:contributor>Barker, Joseph</dc:contributor> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource="https://rightsstatements.org/page/InC/1.0/"/> <dc:creator>Ganzhorn, Kathrin</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Wilhelm, Fabrice</dc:creator> <foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://localhost:8080/jspui"/> <dc:creator>Piot, Benjamin A.</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Ollefs, Katharina</dc:creator> <dc:contributor>Ollefs, Katharina</dc:contributor> <dc:contributor>Gönnenwein, Sebastian T.
