This note locates the core difference of the accounts in the fact that Woodward’s account follows an epistemological order, while Spohn’s follows a conceptual order. This unfolds in five further differences: (i) type- vs. token-level causation, (ii) reference to time, (iii) actual/counterfactual intervention vs. epistemic/suppositional wiggling, (iv) a circular vs. a circle-free conception of the circumstances of a direct causal relation, and (v) absolute vs. model-relative causation.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:title>Reply to Jim Woodward's Comments on Wolfgang Spohn's Laws of Belief</dcterms:title> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/46103"/> <foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://localhost:8080/jspui"/> <dc:contributor>Spohn, Wolfgang</dc:contributor> <dcterms:available rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2019-06-25T14:16:16Z</dcterms:available> <dcterms:issued>2019-10</dcterms:issued> <void:sparqlEndpoint rdf:resource="http://localhost/fuseki/dspace/sparql"/> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
