Two cultural groups are selected: Latin America and Japan; to represent western and oriental cultures. Emotions are elicited through an experiment in which participants observe emotionally loaded stimuli and then rate their feelings in a valence (how positive or negative is the experienced emotion) and arousal (how intense is this emotion) scale. The interactions are recorded using audiovisual and thermal devices. This database features three innovative characteristics: spontaneous emotion expressions; multiple synchronized sources of interaction; cross-cultural comparison support. This set of characteristics is missing in the currently available emotion databases; making our database a unique open option for studying spontaneous expressiveness of emotions in a cross-cultural context.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:isPartOf rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/36"/> <foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://localhost:8080/jspui"/> <dc:contributor>Onisawa, Takehisa</dc:contributor> <dspace:isPartOfCollection rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/36"/> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/44549"/> <dc:contributor>Polikovsky, Senya</dc:contributor> <dc:contributor>Kameda, Yoshinari</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Quirós Ramírez, María Alejandra</dc:creator> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dcterms:title>A Spontaneous Cross-Cultural Emotion Database : Latin-America vs. Japan</dcterms:title> <dc:creator>Polikovsky, Senya</dc:creator> <void:sparqlEndpoint rdf:resource="http://localhost/fuseki/dspace/sparql"/> <dc:creator>Onisawa, Takehisa</dc:creator> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
