In this chapter, we describe different approaches to quantify and simulate fluxes in plant metabolic pathways. Metabolic behavior can be simulated with models ranging from basic stoichiometry to fully detailed kinetic models, and fluxes can be quantified via a combination of computer modeling and stable isotope labeling experiments. We especially emphasize the usefulness of these approaches for improving the understanding of storage compound synthesis in developing crop seeds</dcterms:abstract> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2017-04-18T13:11:24Z</dc:date> <dspace:isPartOfCollection rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/36"/> <dc:creator>Grafahrend-Belau, Eva</dc:creator> <dc:contributor>Krach, Christian</dc:contributor> <dc:contributor>Schreiber, Falk</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Schallau, Kai</dc:creator> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
