It is more than a collection of essays on Gödel. It is in fact the product of a long enduring international collaboration on Kurt Gödel’s Philosophical Notebooks (Max Phil). New and significant material has been made accessible to a group of experts, on which they rely for their articles. In addition to this, Gödel’s Nachlass is presented in a new light thanks to the latest research and the corpus of Gödel’s Philosophical Notebooks (Max Phil) is then described in its entirety for the first time in detail. The volume is sub-divided into three parts. The fist part is dedicated to descriptions of the Gödel Nachlass, which is to be found in The Shelby White and Leon Levy Archives Center of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. This part starts with an updated overview of Kurt Gödel’s Nachlass by examining the current state of research and then that is followed by a detailed description of Gödel’s Philosophical Notebooks (Max Phil). The second part is dedicated to the close reading of single remarks in the Max Phil by several Gödel scholars. And the third part of this volume brings together a variety of papers by experts in Gödel studies, logic, and Leibniz as well as by some Gödel enthusiasts. These papers were nearly all written for this volume.</dcterms:abstract> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2017-02-10T09:49:34Z</dc:date> <dc:publisher>Aix en Provence</dc:publisher> <dcterms:available rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2017-02-10T09:49:34Z</dcterms:available> <dc:publisher>Presses Universitaires de Provence</dc:publisher> <dc:contributor>Crocco, Gabriella</dc:contributor> <dcterms:title>Kurt Gödel : philosopher-scientist</dcterms:title> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dcterms:issued>2016</dcterms:issued> <bibo:issn>978-2-85399-976-2</bibo:issn> <dc:contributor>Engelen, Eva-Maria</dc:contributor> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/37306"/> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
