This master's thesis dicusses four North American Native novels in relationship to trickster figures and discourse and posits them to be negotiating the liminal space between cultural borders. L. Silko's "Ceremony", L. Erdrich's "Love Medicine", T. King's "Green Grass, Running Water" and G. Vizenor's " The Heirs of Columbus" are the authors and works under discussion.
