deu terms-of-use Advertising For / With Children And Competition Law The text deals with the question: in which ways, and to what degree, does German competitive law restrict advertising for children, and advertising with children.
Like every publicity, the one made for children tries to influence the young public in favor of a product, a label etc.. But while publicity for an adult public usually adresses the potential customers themselves, children are in many cases invited to urge their parents to buy certain products. Taking influence on the customers in that indirect way, through children, may be a form of unfair competition.
Childrens pictures an voices are used more and more often in publicity. But not every product, not every message should be connected with them. Here as well, the limits of fair competition can be transgressed. 2011-03-23T13:44:48Z 2002 application/pdf Benz, Claudia Kinderwerbung und Lauterkeitsrecht Benz, Claudia 2011-03-23T13:44:48Z
