This paper presents a first approach to the analysis of complex predicates (CPs) in the context of dependency bank development. The effort originates in theoretical work on CPs done within Lexical-Functional Grammar (LFG), but is intended to provide a guideline for analyzing different types of CPs in an independent framework. Despite the fact that we focus on CPs in Hindi and Urdu, the design of the dependencies is kept general enough to account for CP constructions across languages.</dcterms:abstract> <dc:contributor>Ahmed, Tafseer</dc:contributor> <dc:contributor>Sulger, Sebastian</dc:contributor> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource="http://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:bsz:352-20140905103605204-4002607-1"/> <dcterms:available rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2013-07-24T06:13:48Z</dcterms:available> <dc:contributor>Butt, Miriam</dc:contributor> <dc:rights>deposit-license</dc:rights> <dcterms:bibliographicCitation>Proceedings of the Eigth conference on International Language Resources and Evaluation (LREC'12), Istanbul, Turkey, May 2012</dcterms:bibliographicCitation> <dc:contributor>Hautli, Annette</dc:contributor> <dcterms:title>A Reference Dependency Bank for Analyzing Complex Predicates</dcterms:title> <dc:creator>Sulger, Sebastian</dc:creator> <dc:creator>Butt, Miriam</dc:creator> <dcterms:issued>2012</dcterms:issued> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
