Abstract
Informationskompetenz für Fortgeschrittene steht bisher nicht im Zentrum der bibliothekarischen Aufmerksamkeit. Dabei ist Informationskompetenz auch für diese Zielgruppe ein notwendiger und lohnenswerter Service. Allerdings haben fortgeschrittene Studierende ein anderes Vorwissen und andere Bedürfnisse als Studienanfänger. Deshalb müssen sich Angebote für Graduates sowohl inhaltlich als auch didaktisch von den Angeboten für Undergraduates unterscheiden. Dann profitieren sowohl die fortgeschrittenen Studierenden als auch die lehrenden Bibliothekare und ihre Bibliothek von einer solchen Erweiterung des Spektrums.
