On the one hand, one can analyze outflow algorithms formulated directly in terms of the lattice Boltzmann variables, like the extrapolation method, to find the induced outflow conditions in terms of the Navier-Stokes variables. On the other hand, one can check the consistency and accuracy of lattice Boltzmann outflow treatments to given hydrodynamic outflow conditions like the Neumann or average pressure condition. As example how the gained insight can be used, we propose an improvement of the well known extrapolation method.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:isPartOf rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/39"/> <foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://localhost:8080/jspui"/> <dc:rights>terms-of-use</dc:rights> <dcterms:issued>2011</dcterms:issued> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="http://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/19315"/> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2012-05-22T08:55:30Z</dc:date> <dcterms:bibliographicCitation>Publ. in: Communications in computational physics ; 9 (2011), 5. - pp. 1117-1127</dcterms:bibliographicCitation> <dc:contributor>Yang, Zhaoxia</dc:contributor> <void:sparqlEndpoint rdf:resource="http://localhost/fuseki/dspace/sparql"/> <dc:contributor>Junk, Michael</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Yang, Zhaoxia</dc:creator> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
