Decisive for this is the influence that different forecast functions have on the objective demand curve, even though they are consistent with perfect foresight. With an example it is shown that simple adaptive and constant memory forecast rules generate such unemployment equilibria. The corresponding temporary equilibrium dynamics may display stable unemployment and unstable full employment equilibria.</dcterms:abstract> <dc:date rdf:datatype="">2011-03-25T09:43:29Z</dc:date> <dcterms:title>Multiplicity of Cournot Equilibria and Involuntary Unemployment</dcterms:title> <dcterms:bibliographicCitation>First publ. in: Journal of Economic Theory 80 (1998), 2, pp. 332-349</dcterms:bibliographicCitation> <dc:rights>deposit-license</dc:rights> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource=""/> <dcterms:issued>1998</dcterms:issued> <dc:creator>Kaas, Leo</dc:creator> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
