These features are exploited in radical emulsion and suspension polymerization of olefinic monomers, such as butadiene, styrene and acrylates on a large scale. Also, transition metal catalysis in aqueous media involving the synthesis of low molecular weight compounds (commercialized in the Ruhrchemie/ Rhone-Poulenc hydroformylation process) is currently attracting strong interest. By contrast transition metal catalyzed coordination polymerization reactions in water have received less attention, as the common early transition metal catalysts2 are extremely sensitive to moisture.</dcterms:abstract> <dc:creator>Bauers, Florian Martin</dc:creator> <void:sparqlEndpoint rdf:resource="http://localhost/fuseki/dspace/sparql"/> <dc:format>application/pdf</dc:format> <dcterms:rights rdf:resource="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.0/legalcode"/> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="http://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/10056"/> <dcterms:isPartOf rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/29"/> <foaf:homepage rdf:resource="http://localhost:8080/jspui"/> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dcterms:issued>2000</dcterms:issued> <dcterms:bibliographicCitation>First publ. in: Polymer Preprints ; 41 (2000), 1. - S. 209-210</dcterms:bibliographicCitation> <dc:rights>deposit-license</dc:rights> <dspace:hasBitstream rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/bitstream/123456789/10056/1/2000_PolymPreprint_41_209_Mecking.pdf"/> <dc:contributor>Bauers, Florian Martin</dc:contributor> <dcterms:hasPart rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/bitstream/123456789/10056/1/2000_PolymPreprint_41_209_Mecking.pdf"/> <dcterms:title>Water as a reaction medium for nickel(II)-catalyzed ethylene polymerization</dcterms:title> <dc:creator>Mecking, Stefan</dc:creator> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
