Zusammenfassung
Coherent dynamics and in particular coherent acoustic phonons are of special interest in the investigation of stratified systems at the nanoscale. Mechanical as well as heat transport properties are crucial for a better fundamental understanding of downscaling effects in upcoming technological devices. This work investigates coherent acoustic phonons in stratified media by time resolved pump-probe measurements and yields new insights to the coherent acoustic phonon propagation in metal-molecule layered systems, superlattices and in thin film shape memory alloys.
