Abstract
Das ZfBB-Themenheft »Den Wandel gestalten – Informations-Infrastrukturen im digitalen Zeitalter« (ZfBB 58 [2011], Heft 3–4) versuchte sich in einer »Standortbestimmung für alle zentralen Handlungsfelder der Informationsversorgung«. Eine kritische Lektüre des Themenheftes zeigt indessen, dass diese »Standortbestimmung « sowohl die kritische Reflexion ihrer Grundbegriffe als auch die Auseinandersetzung mit den Gegenargumenten versäumt und damit keinen Diskurs eröffnet, sondern lediglich den institutionellen Ort markiert, von dem die Umstellung der Bibliotheken auf Informationsversorgungseinrichtungen ihren Ausgang nimmt. Dieser Ort ist der »Ausschuss für Wissenschaftliche Bibliotheken und Informationssysteme«.

The ZfBB special theme issue titled »Shaping Change – Information Infrastructure in the Digital Age« (Vol. 58, 2011, Issue 3–4) attempted to give an assessment of the main fields of focus for information provision. A critical reading of this special issue reveals that the analyses fail to provide critical insights into basic concepts or refute counter-arguments; hence the issue did not initiate a discourse, but merely marked off the institutional location at which the re-positioning of libraries as institutions for information provision is to start from. This location is the »Committee on Scientific Library Services and Information Systems« of the German Research Foundation (DFG).
