Zusammenfassung

A new coordination kit, the HETTAP approach, is described, which allows one to prepare supramolecular heteroleptic metal phenanthroline/terpyridine racks and ladders in basically quantitative yield. Due to the dynamic nature of the nanoladder structures, a two-step double-transmetalation and scenarios with like metal/unlike ligand recognition were realized.
