Zusammenfassung

In the present thesis we apply the reduced basis method (RBM) on a coupled elliptic-parabolic equation system, which is highly nonlinear. This equation system describes the charge and mass transport in a lithium-ion battery. For an efficient application of the RBM we develop an a posteriori error estimator which estimates the error between our finite volume and our reduced solution. To evaluate the nonlinearities in an efficient way we additionally apply the empirical interpolation method. The suitable reduced order model we use for the parameter estimation to a required terminal voltage. The results we confirm with a sensitivity analysis.
