Zusammenfassung
Shaping of extremely intense mid-infrared transients by means of time-domain slicing and frequency-domain synthesis is demonstrated. We achieve phase-stable transients with multiple MV/cm peak fields and having single-cycle duration and strong polar asymmetry.
