Zusammenfassung

We have investigated the rate of homogenous nucleation in liquid 3He-4He mixtures as a function of the speed at which the system is quenched into the miscibility gap below the tricritical point. Rising the quench speed dtau/dt (the derivate of the reduced temperature tau with respect to time)leads to a pronounced increase of the number density N of the droplets which develop during the quench. The data suggest a power law dependence.
