Zusammenfassung

Academic writing is seen as a difficult taks both by students and lecturers, and complaints about poor results abound. Yet few lecturers take action and try out new directions in teaching. In this article, a seminar based on a writing process model is presented in which students took a gradual approach to drafting, revising and editing their papers with the additional incentive of potentially having their work published. Peer feedback constitutes a significant tool in this aporoach to both foster independent student writing skills as well as reduce the workload for the lecturer.
