Zusammenfassung
There is no prototypical father. He might have existed in traditional cultures (fathers there were forced to a specific way of living their fatherhood by couvade and other rituals). In modern societies, it seems unrealistic and inhuman to expect men being the one new , comitted , omnipresent father. Living fatherhood depends on many factors, often not possible to be controled by men themselves. It would be constructive, if social scientists, female partners and professionals in different psychosocial fields would invite fathers to exchange ideas with them, how to live good enough fatherhood. Suggestions for different ways of exchange and some hypotheses, which outputs are expected, will be presented and discussed.
