Zusammenfassung

La investigación en el ámbito del arte rupestre pospaleolítico del levante español se ha centrado en la definición y disección deestilos, interpretados a su vez como 'artes' diferentes: losl lamados arte lineal-geométrico, arte esquemático, arte macroesquemático y arte levantino. De las atribuciones estilísticas de estas manifestaciones se han deducido cuestiones relativas a su cronología y adscripción cultural. Pero este esquema de estudio se puede someter a crítica desde dos puntos de vista: el formal, pues la tipología vigente en la actualidad está siendo modificada y puesta en duda por numerosos autores, y el teórico, ya que el concepto de estilo que se viene utilizando es muy limitado. A esto hay que añadir la exclusividad de la investigación estilística, que en nuestra opinión supone un obstáculo importante para el afianzamiento o descarte definitivos de la tipología levantina. Por ello se plantea la necesidad de utilizar nuevas aproximaciones paraeste corpus artístico, entre las que destacamos el estudio locacional o Arqueología del Paisaje.

Zusammenfassung in einer weiteren Sprache

Research on the field of Spanish Levantine Postpalaeolithic Rock Art has traditionally focused on the definition and delimitation of different styles. These styles, eventually seen as different "arts", are the so called: lineal-geometric, schematic, macroschematic and Levantine arts. From the stylistic features of these study objects, researchers have inferred several questions related to their chronology and cultural adscription. However this research program can be criticised from two angles: from a formal angle, since numerous authors are challeging the prevailing typology, and from a theoretical angle, since the concept of style in use is quite limited. On top of this, another problem is the exclusivity of stylistic research, which hinders the definitive consolidation or rejection of the Levantine typology. As a result, the necessity of using new approaches to this artistic corpus, has been brought up in this paper. Among these approaches it is worth highlight the "local" study or the Archaeology of Landscape.
