Zusammenfassung

This chapter will deal with historic aspects and offer an insight into the origins of Hollow Sphere manufacturing processes up until the present day, highlighting various interesting Hollow Sphere technologies and ideas from old patents. The second part of the chapter will concentrate on production and process application of the present day Hollow Spheres.
