Business Administration is the largest discipline at 'Fachhochschulen' and universities. Enrollment has increased enormously since the mid-seventies, first at the universities, and later, especially in the nineties, at the 'Fachhochschulen'. Especially women have increasingly chosen the study of Business administration. In the 'Konstanzer survey', Business Administration students were asked about their situation. The results of five inquiries between 1993 and 2004 are the basis for this monography. In addition to the students' views on the teaching situation and social atmosphere in Business Administration, this study also considers their motives for choosing the field, requirements, and strategies with regard to the study, and the professional intentions and expectations of the students, as well as their wishes with regard to improvement of study conditions.
Zusammenfassung in einer weiteren Sprache
Die Betriebswirtschaftslehre ist zahlenmäßig das größte Studienfach an Fachhochschulen und Universitäten. Dieses Studienfach hat seit Mitte der 70er Jahre einen gewaltigen Zulauf erhalten, erst an den Universitäten, später, insbesondere in den 90er Jahren sehr stark an den Fachhochschulen. Vor allem wählen immer häufiger Frauen ein Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Im Rahmen des Konstanzer Studierendensurvey wurden auch BWL-Studierende nach ihrer Studiensituation befragt. Ergebnisse aus fünf Befragungen im Zeitraum von 1993 bis 2004 bilden den Hintergrund für diese Fachmonographie. Neben der studentischen Sicht auf die Lehrsituation und des sozialen Klimas im BWL-Studium, stehen die Motive der Fachwahl, der Studienaufbau, die Studienanforderungen, Studienstrategien und das Studierverhalten, aber auch die beruflichen Pläne und Erwartungen sowie Wünsche zur Verbesserung der Studienbedingungen, im Blickpunkt der Auswertungen und Darstellungen.
