Zusammenfassung
In this paper we outline an approach to detect concepts and relations among concepts from heterogeneous domains in order to support the creative thinking. This is achieved by integrating units of information and their relations from heterogeneous data sources into a unifying model, represented through a network and analyzing the resulting network structure. We discuss the extraction of semantical meaningful concepts and aspects, that describe the concepts, based on the relations of the integrated units of information. This semantical information can be used to create a high level view of the resulting network and the discovery of domain crossing concepts ultimately triggers new insights.
