Zusammenfassung
Linux makes life easy for the device driver developer. The Kernel is open source and highly modular. However, albeit these good preconditions there are also some downsides. Finding good and up-to- date documentation is not always easy since some things often change from one kernel release to another. The following examples have been taken from different sources and modified and tested under Ubuntu 7.10 with Kernel 2.6.21.17. To start Kernel hacking one should be familiar with c/c++.
