Zusammenfassung

La notion de «polythéisme» demande à être réexaminée, et l’auteur préfère parler de religions «cosmothéistes», face aux religions monothéistes, l’affirmation de l’Un leur étant commune, mais comprise différemment. La présentation des quelques sources appartenant à la religion de l’Égypte ancienne permet de mettre cela en évidence : de l’Un pré-existant et universel proviennent la création et la multiplicité des dieux, mais l’affirmation de sa transcendance est variable selon les périodes, jusqu’à ce que prévale à l’époque ramesside (20e dynastie) la conception d’un Dieu de la vie, qui anime le cosmos.

Zusammenfassung in einer weiteren Sprache

Considering that the notion of “polytheism” requires to be re-examined, the author prefers to speak in terms of “cosmotheist” religions as opposed to monotheist religions, since they both affirm the existence of the One, but according to different senses. The presentation of sources belonging to ancient Egyptian religion allows to render this manifest: from the pre-existent and universal One derive the creation and the multiplicity of gods, but the affirmation of its transcendence varies according to the different periods of history, until the conception of a God of life animating the cosmos prevails in the Rameside period (20th dynasty).
