| dc.description.abstract | Summary form only given. II-VI semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) are endowed with large Coulomb correlation energies and high confinement potentials, rendering these systems ideal candidates for future sources of ultrafast quantum light [1, 2]. We employ a two-color pump-probe technique and an external magnetic field to selectively control single-photon gain from individual negatively-charged CdSe/ZnSe QDs on sub-picosecond timescales and with strong spin selectivity. | eng |
