This QDD model contains four space-dependent observables: The non-negative particle density of electrons, the electrostatic potential, the quantum quasi-Fermi potential and the current density. The goal is to optimize the shape of quantum barriers in a quantum diode. Existence of optimal solutions is proved. Moreover, first-order necessary optimality conditions are derived.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:issued>2007</dcterms:issued> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2018-02-02T07:54:36Z</dc:date> <bibo:uri rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/handle/123456789/41199"/> <void:sparqlEndpoint rdf:resource="http://localhost/fuseki/dspace/sparql"/> <dc:contributor>Unterreiter, Andreas</dc:contributor> <dc:creator>Volkwein, Stefan</dc:creator> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
