We argue that Peterson’s treatment of risk is unsatisfactory. More precisely, we discuss a number of major problems of one-dimensional (objective or subjective) consequentialism, and show that none of them disappears with Peterson’s proposal. In ending our paper, we address the objection that our discussion overlooks the fact that Peterson’s proposal is not the best version of multi-dimensional consequentialism. Our reply is that the possibilities of improving multi-dimensional consequentialism are very limited as far as risk is concerned.</dcterms:abstract> <dcterms:available rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2016-06-24T07:48:51Z</dcterms:available> <dspace:isPartOfCollection rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/40"/> <dc:contributor>Andrić, Vuko</dc:contributor> <dcterms:issued>2016</dcterms:issued> <dcterms:title>Multi-Dimensional Consequentialism and Risk</dcterms:title> <dcterms:isPartOf rdf:resource="https://kops.uni-konstanz.de/rdf/resource/123456789/52"/> <dc:date rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">2016-06-24T07:48:51Z</dc:date> <dc:contributor>Tanyi, Attila</dc:contributor> </rdf:Description> </rdf:RDF>
